How do I sort my Spotify playlist by Date Added web player?

After a long gap, Spotify is finally releasing a revamped design and user experience for its web and desktop players. The new visual changes are aimed at bringing the whole experience closer to smartphone apps. The announcement mentions that all of these changes have been implemented after months of testing and research including feedback from users.

The new design features a "Search" bar on the left-side corner, between Home and Your Library options, instead of the previously top position. The team has removed all the sub-sections of the Your Library menu from the sidebar and they can now be accessed by clicking on the menu. This adds a cleaner look to the whole interface and makes it feel less cluttered.

The Your Library interface has four menus at the top: Playlists, Podcasts, Artists, and Albums. The users can tap on the particular category to get relevant results and suggestions. The team has further made it easier to create and manage playlists. You can now easily rename a playlist, add a custom image, re-arrange songs, and even search for tracks that you would like to add without exiting the opened playlist.

While listening to any playlist or a queue, Spotify has added sorting options so that you can listen to the music as per your preference at that moment. You can choose from options like Recently played, Most relevant, Recently added, alphabetical, and custom order. And yes, Spotify Premium users can now download songs for offline playback even on the desktop. The feature is available on smartphone apps for quite some time and has now expanded to the desktop app.
