It was an easy decision for me to start in January – I had worked for my company for the past 15 years, but in January, the factory was to shut and I needed to decide on my next steps. It, therefore, happened at exactly the right time. I also like how the course is taught during the first half of the year, with the second half of the year dedicated to writing and researching my dissertation.

The highlight would definitely have to be the friends I’ve made through Aston. I got to experience their different cultures and it gave a whole new perspective on my outlook on life. We shared food, music and the history of our countries amongst ourselves and this is an experience I would’ve never gotten if I hadn’t been at Aston.
