Does Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver have the same Pokemon?
As they are a pair game, the main difference between them is the different Pokemons in the game. The Pokemons featured are only in one of the paired games and not featured in the other.
Can you get deoxys in SoulSilver?
In Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver, the only way to catch Deoxys is in the Pal Park. As in the previous generation, this serves as a special nature reserve for Pokemon and is available after players unlock the National Dex. It can be found in Fuchsia City, which is in the Kanto region.
How many Pokemon are obtainable in SoulSilver?
All 493 Pokémon are capable of following players similar to Pikachu in Yellow. Shininess and form differences are retained when a Pokémon is following the player. The player can interact with their Pokémon by pressing 'A' while facing it, so they can see how their Pokémon is feeling at the moment.
Can you get all Gen 1 Pokemon in HeartGold?
All of generation 1 & 2 can be acquired in either HeartGold or SoulSilver. However, with just HeartGold some will be unavailable. The 2 Johto and 2 Kanto starters [and their evolutions] that you didn't choose will be unavailable.
