Can some one help me. I had installed only word from the appstore and removed it to then install from this package. All the other apps except word appear in my applications folder. I tried reinstalling word multiple times, but no luck. I logged out from applestore and tried...still noting. Whatever I do, word is not installing or appearing in the applications folder, but all others appear. what can i do

Tried several times on Mac OS X High Sierra 10.13.6 but still get the sign in window, using the 16.43 Office suite installer, which is the last version compatible with HS. Oddly it did work and I had Word and Excel installed but I installed Powerpoint and it all went t*ts up. After removing all and the licence it will not activate. I think this is a dead duck for HS thank god it still works on Catalina 10.15.7

What happens if I have previously installed and ran office 2016 and want to reinstall with this method?

I cannot for the life of me get this activated. I have removed every single file associated with MS using several tools. Removed all support files etc etc. Tried the installer and Serializer with reboots almost 6 times now. All outgoing connections blocked. No go. Keeps asking for activation. Big Sur Mac Pro 5.1 12 core. Cannot understand this one at all. Works on my 2 MBP's but on this Mac its a no go. Some help would be greatly appreciated. I got 2016 to work but I need the 2019 version

I also have just given up. I installed SOFTMAKER OFFICE. Compatible with all MS format types.

"brew cask" is no longer a "brew" command, you can just use 'brew command --cask' instead

I could get it work. Only thing to do on top of that fantastic tutorial was to install AppCleaner and make sure there were no remaining files hidden somewhere. Then I downloaded manually the 2016 version, installed it and apply the volume licence and it worked. But now I'm struggling to update the files? it says it needs update but no options to actually download and apply the update is provided.

Fun note: my work institution has a volume licence but for some reasons I cannot access our application Kiosque thing.

did you uninstall the apps using appCleaner (and select everything, not the default suggestion?)

why did you have to remove the -sSL option ? maybe you should update curl (brew install curl) ?

It was a clean installation, clean PC, i not select everething. I remove -sSL becuase with it it doesn't work for me.

I try again with your suggestion, where i can get appCleanerar?

I have tried 8 times. I have used App Uninstaller to uninstall. Used Advanced Uninstall Manager. Used License Removal Tool. Used Reset Tool. Manually removed ALL traces of Microsoft containers etc. 2019 and serialised will not work. Keeps asking for sign in. 2016 with V2.plist works just fine but 2016 is pretty outdated now. Anyone with a solution?
