when I try to create a new solid in my pretty filled up comp I get this error, I also get it when I try to paste layers from another comp into it :
After effects error: cannot insert item into a locked list.

What does it mean. There are no layers locked.

Which plugins are you using? Try disabling [with the “f” button] those effects present at the trouble spot, then get back to us.

I added a stabilization tracker. no problem. but when I apply the transform and try to preview it, I always get:
"After Effects error: cannot unlock an unlocked list"
only happens during preview. have not tried a render. it prevents preview at all. If I disable the anchor point transform keyframes, it works. The layers in the screenshot are just a video, and a duplicate video for testing. breaks with or without the extra layer. it is a very simple comp with no effects.

Hello.
We can not install AE, we have tried uninstalling the whole package and installing again.
Other Adobe products has been installed successfully. We were able to install on another computer under the same installation package file.
