Can you rearrange a playlist in iTunes?

You can rearrange the order of a playlist:

1. Go to the playlist you want to re-arrange.
2. Tap Edit.
3. Touch and hold down on the grabber button to the right of the track you want to move.
4. Drag the track to it’s new position, where ever you want it.
5. Tap Done, top right, to finish.

1. In the Music app on your Mac, choose File > New > Playlist Folder.
2. Type a name for the folder and press Return.
3. To add items to the folder, drag playlists or other folders into the folder.

Go to the Playlists tab and select the recently added Apple Music Playlist. Now select all tracks and right click on any of them to select “New Playlist from Selection”. After iTunes has created a new playlist, go back to the original one to select all tracks again and drag them over to your new playlists.

Steps on how to reorder songs in Playlist From iTunes: Mac, Windows PC 

Step 1: Open iTunes on Your Mac/ PC. [From the Spotlight Search type iTunes and open].

Step 2: From the top iTune’s tab, Go with Playlist. 

Step 3: Open Playlist by tap on name,

Step 4: Now, Choose song that you want move anywhere in playlist. See the below screen, there I moved first song inside the playlist.

When you create a playlist in iTunes, songs appear in the order in which you add them. If the songs all came from the same album but aren't listed in the album's sequence, you may want to reorganize the playlist to match the album. If you created a custom playlist but want to reorder your songs into a better sequence, it's easy to do, and iTunes automatically remembers the changes. 

These instructions work for all versions of iTunes.

To adjust the order of the tracks on your playlist:

1. Select Library at the top of the screen to switch to Library mode.

2. Select Music from the drop-down menu at the top of the left panel.

3. Go to the Music Playlists [or All Playlists] section in the left panel. If it is collapsed, hover your mouse to the right of Music Playlists and select Show when it appears.

4. Select the name of the playlist you want to work with. This opens the complete list of songs on the playlist in the main iTunes window. Songs are displayed in the current order they play.

5. To reorder a song in your playlist, select its title and drag it to a new position. Repeat the process with any other songs you want to rearrange.

6. To turn off a song on the list so it doesn't play, remove the checkmark from the box in front of the title. If you don't see a checkbox next to each song in the playlist, go to View > View All > Songs from the menu bar to display the checkboxes.

iTunes automatically saves these edits. Sync the edited playlist to your portable media player, play it on your computer, or burn it to CD, and enjoy your songs in their new order.
