+ Vì sao phải hoàn thành thống nhất đất nước về mặt nhà nước?
- Từ lâu đất nước ta đã là một. Thống nhất đất nước là một quy luật phát triển của dân tộc ta. Xưa nay tất cả các thê lực nào muốn chia cắt đất nước ta đều bị lịch sử chôn vùi. Hồ Chủ tịch thường nói: “Nước Việt Nam là một, dân tộc Việt Nam là một... Sông có thể cạn, núi có thể mòn, song chân lý ấy không bao giờ thay đổi”
- Thống nhất đất nước là một nguyện vọng chính đáng, một điều kiện thống nhất đất nước về toàn diện, mới mở ra khả năng to lớn trong xây dựng và bảo vệ Tổ quốc, cũng như mở rộng quan hệ quốc tế của nước ta.+ Quá trình thống nhất đất nước về mặt nhà nước đã diễn ra như thế nào?
Qua nhiều bước:- Nắm bắt được yêu cầu khách quan của lịch sử, Hội nghị Trung ương Đảng [8/1975] đề ra chủ trương hoàn thành thống nhất đất nước về mặt Nhà nước. - Thực hiện chủ trương trên đây của Đảng, một hội nghị đại biểu của nhân dân hai miền Nam – Bắc đã được triệu tập tại thành phố Sài Gòn [12/1975] để bàn về việc hiệp thương tổng tuyển cử thống nhất đất nước. Hội nghị đã tán thành chủ trương hoàn thành thống nhất đất nước về mặt Nhà nước của Trung ương Đảng. - Thực hiện Nghị quyết của hội nghị đại biểu của nhân dân hai miền Nam – Bắc, chúng ta đã tổ chức một cuộc Tổng tuyển cử tự do trong cả nước vào ngày 26/4/1976 để bầu Quốc hội chung trong cả nước. - Tiếp đó vào khoảng cuối tháng 6 đầu tháng 7/1976 Quốc hội khoá VI đã họp kỳ họp thứ nhất tại Hà Nội. Quốc hội quyết định những vấn để trọng dại của đất nước như: + Đổi tên nước thành nước Cộng hòa Xã hội chủ nghĩa Việt Nam [kể từ ngày 2/7/1976].+ Vẫn lấy Hà Nội làm thủ đô chung của cả nước, lá cờ đỏ sao vàng 5 cánh làm Quốc kỳ, bài Tiến quân ca làm Quốc ca và đổi tên thành phố Sài Gòn - Gia Định thành thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. + Bầu ra cơ quan lãnh đạo cao nhất của Nhà nước, bầu những người lãnh đạo cao nhất của Nhà nước. + Cử ra một ban dự thảo hiến pháp mới và công bố vào nồm 1980. Đến đây việc thống nhất đất nước về mặt nhà nước đã hoàn thành.+ Ý nghĩa lịch sử của việc thống nhất đất nước về mặt Nhà nước ?
- Đây là tháng lợi to lớn của ta vì từ nay đã thể chế hoá được sự thống nhất đất nước vé mặt lãnh thổ trước đó.- Tạo điều kiện để ta đi đến thống nhất đất nước toàn diện về chính trị. kinh tế, văn hoá, giáo dục, y tế, văn học nghệ thuật và tư tưởng v.v...- Mở ra những khả năng to lớn cho nước ta trong việc phát triển kinh tế, củng cố quốc phòng, bảo vệ Tổ quốc.- Mở rộng quan hệ đối ngoại, ngoại thương, giao lưu quốc tế, đồng thời nâng cao hơn nữa uy thế của nước ta trên trường quốc tế, góp phần tích cực vào công việc củng cố hòa bình, an ninh ở khu vực Đông Nam Á nói riêng và trên thế giới nói chung.
