LaGuardia's Justice Community Program is part of the NYC Young Men's Initiative and is funded by the Center for Economic Opportunity and the NYC Department of Probation. We work with young men and women with or without criminal court involvement, providing them with access to tools necessary for effectively serving their community, particularly by way of community benefit projects. Many of our participants reside in or associate themselves with high-risk neighborhoods and have been directly involved in criminal activities, arrested, or placed on probation within the last 12 months.

Emergency Medical Technician [EMT]/Paramedic and Certified Clinical Medical Assistant [CCMA] Programs

The EMT and Paramedic Programs train individuals in Basic Pre-Hospital Emergency Care. New York State certification depends upon satisfactory attendance, successful completion of course exams, and passing of a final exam administered by the New York State Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
