  4. How to turn off Samsung J7 without touch screen

I tried holding down the power button for a minute on my device (Vivo Nex S) and was unable to force a shut down. For me I HAD to touch the screen to complete the shutdown or restart. I also tried a few button combos, which also did not work. Maybe cut your losses? Backup the phone on your PC using Samsung Smart Switch, then buy a new one! Restore to the new phone.
