II. TỪ VỰNG & CẤU TRÚC DÙNG TRONG LINE GRAPH III. CÁCH VIẾT DẠNG LINE GRAPH 1. Bố cục bài văn IELTS WRITING TASK 1 dạng line graph 2. Các bước viết dạng Line graph Example: The graph below shows consumers' average annual expenditure on cell phone, national and international fixed-line and services in America between 2001 and 2010.
Chủ ngữ ở đây là: Average annual expenditure on cell phone,
national and
Example: It is clear that while the yearly spending on mobile phones increased significantly, the opposite was true for national landline phone expenditure. Also, the figure for international fixed-line service was lowest during the period. Body 1: (từ 2001 đến 2006) In 2001, there was an average of nearly $700 spent on national landline phones by US residents, in comparison with only around $200 each on mobile phones and international landline services. Over the
next five years, the average amount poured into national Body 2: (từ 2006 đến 2010) In 2006, US consumers spent the same amount of money on mobile and national fixed-line services, with just over $500 on each.
From the year 2006 3.
In 1970, around 5 million UK commuters travelled by car on a daily basis, while the bus and train were used by about 4 million and 2 million people respectively. In the year2000, the number of those driving to work rose to 7 million and the numberof commuting rail passengers reached 3 million. However, there was a small drop of approxiamately 0.5millions of bus users. By 2030, the number of people who commune by car is expected to reach almost 9 million, and the number of train users is also predicted to rise, to nearly 5 million.By contrast, buses is predicted to becomea less popular choice, with only 3 million daily users. A glance at the graph provided reveals some striking similarities between the Chinese and US birth rates during the period from 1920 to 2000. It is evident that both nations saw considerable fluctuations in fertility, with lows during the 1940s and highs during the 1950s. Increasing from approximately 10 percent in 1920 to 15 percent in 1935, China’s birth rate then plunged to a low of just 5 percent in the 1940s. This was followed by a period of exponential growth, with fertility in the country reaching a peak of 20 percent in 1950. The latter half of the century, however, brought a sustained decline in this figure. The US birth rate, meanwhile, fluctuated at somewhere between 11 and 13 percent prior to 1940, before dropping sharply to less than 5 percent in 1945. The following 5 years saw a rapid climb in this rate, to somewhere in the vicinity of 15 percent in 1950, followed by a steady fall. IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:
