Essence stay all day concealer review

I recently purchased a few of these concealers online . Thought I would give them a try. I wear make up daily . I love concealer for multiple uses when applying my make up . Essence is extremely affordable so why not give it a try huh. Show Packaging is nothing special at all . Consistency is liquid . I put this over my lids for a base for my eye shadow . I notice it takes a while to dry down and blend out. Very patchy consistency but build able. I noticed it creased in my fine lines under my eyes making it a hot mess. I notice that it moves around easily . Overall I think as an eye shadow base it was perfect . But for hiding imperfections on your face and cleaning up eye brows stay far away from this one. For now I’ll just continue to use it as a base. Make-up January 31, 2019February 4, 2019 2 Minutes What Essence claims: Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Cyclopentasiloxane, Peg/Ppg-18/18 Dimethicone, Dimethiconol, Cyclohexasiloxane, Sodium Chloride, C30-45 Alkyl Methicone, C30-45 Olefin, Mica, Polysorbate 80, Trimethoxycaprylylsilane, Hydrolyzed Wheat Gluten, Ethylhexylglycerin, Ceratonia Siliqua Gum, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Phenoxyethanol, Ci 77491, Ci 77492, Ci 77499 (Iron Oxides), Ci 77891 (Titanium Dioxide). Packaging: The packaging is sturdy and convenient to carry. It comes in a long plastic tube with a doe foot applicator brush which makes the application super easy. The shade name and number are mentioned only on a sticker that is pasted on the cap. Price: Rs. 260 for 7ml. Shades: Available in two shades (pretty pathetic!) – 10- natural beige (yellow undertone) & 20-soft beige (pink undertone). I picked up the shade 10, suitable for fair to medium skin tone. Unfortunately, there are no shades for deeper skin tone. My Experience: Since I was looking for an affordable good quality concealer that I could use to highlight my under eyes, I opted for this concealer. The formula is very lightweight, sets into a comfortable matte finish. It has smooth creamy texture, blends effortlessly and gives a perfect brightening effect under my eyes, which I was looking for. Once set with powder, it stays put until I remove my makeup i.e. maximum up to 8 hours. I can’t really say if it would last up to 16 hours as the company claims because I never wear makeup that long. This concealer is suitable for all skin types. Coverage: The concealer provides a light coverage. I usually mix two concealers – first, L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD in Pure Beige to hide my dreaded dark circles and then top it off with this essence concealer to brighten up my under eyes and the highest points of my face. On its own it will not really cover acne scars or even blemishes. If you are blessed with ‘no dark-circles’ and looking for a brightening concealer, you can go for this. Also, on me this concealer oxidises a tad bit but that’s not an issue for me because even after oxidising it leaves a nice highlighted effect. The Positives:

My final Verdict: All in all, this concealer served my purpose of buying it. Essence cosmetics, in general, is a very affordable beginners-friendly brand and its pure vegan and cruelty-free.
